• CARA and USATF certified paved 5K course around campus

• $200 Visa gift card awarded to Top Overall male and female runners, and the "Middle of the Pack" winner

All proceeds from this event will benefit COD student scholarships.  We're proud to announce that each high school district served by College of DuPage will have a dedicated scholarship for their graduates who attend COD.  At the time of 5K or Youth Dash registration, participants can designate the district that will receive the funds.

Evanston's 'Kits, 'Cats and Kids Block Party

The 2017 Block Party is scheduled for Thursday, September 14  from 4:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The party will take place on Sherman Avenue between Church and Clark Streets and on Clark Street between Sherman and Benson Avenues.

There will be games, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities filling the street, live music, the ETHS Marching Band and NU Marching Band, rousing pep rally-style speeches, and lots of dining options.

The 2017 Naperville Ale Fest – Summer Edition will take place on Saturday, July 15, and will feature over 200 unique American craft beers, live music and food from some of area’s favorite restaurants and food trucks. Situated on the grounds of the Naper Settlement, with downtown Naperville as a backdrop, it is the ideal setting to experience craft beer. A portion of the proceeds from the Naperville Ale Fest will benefit the Naper Settlement and the Naperville Heritage Society.

The West Fest live music stage is booked by Empty Bottle Presents and features cutting edge and diverse original live music. The West Fest DJ Stage showcases high profile local, national, and International DJs with an emphasis on Chicago House with Mark Farina, Jesse De La Pena and Derrick Carter regularly featured. 

"There is something for everyone at West Fest." 
West Fest’s Pet Fest and Kid Fest are big draws. Kid Fest takes place on an adjacent street (Wolcott Street) within the fest site and offers quality children and family activities including pony rides, live family friendly music, local theatrical performances, family friendly vendors, games and more. The 2017 activities in the Kid Fest area will exclusively benefit local Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy.
